Emissions Reduction Training and Resources
Milliken set science-based Net-Zero emissions reduction targets. Emissions reductions align with our dedication to innovation and operational efficiency. We set Net-Zero targets for reducing emissions by 2030 and 2050, using 2018 as our baseline. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated our targets, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices. By focusing on these targets, we aim to enhance our competitiveness, reduce operational costs, and meet the growing demand for products that reduce negative environmental impacts.
As outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct, we expect suppliers to track scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and related impacts in accordance with GHG reporting standards. We expect suppliers to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvements by means of clear targets that align with climate science. We also expect suppliers to make annual data and implementation efforts available upon request. Our sustainability report and the below resources can support your emissions reductions efforts.
