Custom Belt Backing for Algae Growth

Gross-Wen Technologies needed a lighter conveyor belt for its algae-based wastewater system. After finding the backing was Milliken polyester, they partnered with our R&D team to create a custom textile backing optimized for algae growth by adjusting material, weight, and pore size.

Custom Scrim Mesh for Recyclable Produce Bags

To help a major retailer reduce plastic, The Paper People needed a recyclable mesh window that bonded to paper, allowed visibility, and met food-contact standards. We engineered a tri-directional scrim with cellulosic yarn and heat-activated adhesive, custom built for their Paperlock™ technology.
