Millad ClearX 9000: increasing the value of high clarity polypropylene through reduced extraction, improved compatibility, and enhanced chemical stability.
The market increasingly demands polypropylene products with clarity levels approaching those of ultra-clear (UC) materials, particularly for intermaterial replacement opportunities where transparency is crucial. This presentation discusses an innovative solution to optimize clarity performance at lower additive concentrations, eliminating the need for the previously required 3000-4000 ppm to achieve UC clarity. This advancement not only enhances visual appeal but also reduces extraction rates, providing better solutions for applications like food contact. Additionally, attendees will learn how enhanced compatibility with our clarifying agents, compared to previous generation technology, supports sustainability initiatives by improving operational efficiency, facilitating smooth transitions, and effectively blending with post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials. Lastly, the presentation will discuss how chemical stability and lower bloom contribute to longer-lasting aesthetic performance that the polypropylene market demands.
