Chafer

Milliken’s splice-free, ready-to-use chafer can be used alone or in conjunction with a gum strip. Lighter in weight than many conventional chafers, fabric yarns are knit into a bias configuration for excellent conformability.

MilliCap®

MilliCap^® cap ply strips are precision-slit and ready-to-use. MilliCap does not require calendering, delivering substantial cost savings in the tire manufacturing process and reduce rubber weight in the tire for better on-road performance.

Bead Wrap

Milliken offers knitted and woven bead wrap in a range of fabric weights and tack levels. It does not require calendering. RFL treatments provide excellent adhesion, and our tackifier chemistry is 100% solvent free.

Processing Aid

Designed for easy release and superior resistance to wrinkles, Milliken tire process liners are durable and cost-effective. Available cross-rigid or flexible, coated or uncoated, with strong, durable selvages.

READY TO USE

Eliminate preparatory steps. RTUs go straight to tire building — no rubber mixing, no calendering. You’ll use less rubber and less energy. Without the need for internal processing, there won’t be scrap or waste.
