Meet the Speaker | Sven De Vis
Sven De Vis is based at the Milliken Chemical European Technical Service headquarters in Ghent, Belgium.
Sven joined Milliken in 2012 as Technical Service & Development Engineer for the Polymeric Colorants and Ingredient Division. In 2019, Sven moved to Plastic Additives Division. He has over 27 years of experience in research & development and technical roles within the polymer industry.
Sven has a master's degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering from the University of Ghent.
Meet the Speaker | Philippe Scheerlinck
Philippe Scheerlinck joined Milliken in 2013 as New Business Development Manager for the Chemical Division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role he has developed markets for weight reduction of polypropylene for the automotive industry, for electro-conductive plastics and for synthetic colorants in fertilizer applications.
In his current Downstream Sales Manager role for Plastic Additives, he is focusing on developing the market for Masterbatch Solutions that improve the performance and sustainability of virgin and recycled polypropylene and polyethylene.
Prior to joining Milliken, Philippe worked in technical, marketing and new business development roles for ExxonMobil Chemical, Terumo BCT, Johns Manville and Bekaert. Philippe holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the Catholic University Leuven in Belgium.

Meet the Speaker | Tugce Asici-van Houselt
Tugce Asici-van Houselt holds a M.Sc. in International Business from the University of Maastricht, NL. She joined Milliken Chemical in 2019 as the Sr. New Business Development Manager where she was responsible for EMEA regional strategy and growth projects for the Plastics Additives business. Since 2021, Tugce has been leading the sales team focused on downstream customers in EMEA. Before joining Milliken, Tugce held several regional and global marketing roles at Kraton Polymers (previously Arizona Chemical) focusing on coatings, flexible packaging and pressure sensitive adhesives. She has over 15 years of experience in marketing, strategy development, and implementation.
Meet the Speaker | Greg Courtney
Greg Courtney has over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry and has been with NOVA Chemicals for more than 27 years. Throughout his tenure at NOVA Chemicals, Greg has held numerous roles across the organization. For the past 17 years, he has served as a Technical Service Representative specializing in the Heavy-Duty Sack (HDS) and Food Packaging markets. Greg currently supports customers across Europe. His background includes extensive hands-on film extrusion and troubleshooting experiences and multilayer film design making him a trusted technical resource for customers as they pursue downgauging and mono-material solutions.
