The Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation uses strategic financial giving, reflective of our purpose, values, and vision, as a major way to achieve this vision. The Foundation focuses on organisations whose missions align with our company values and giving pillars. Each year, the Foundation disburses nearly $3 million in philanthropic gifts, helping to foster lasting opportunities where it matters most.

THE FOUNDATION MANAGES FIVE KEY INITIATIVES:

Community Grants

Our Community Grants program helps strengthen the places around the world where we call home. In 2025, we awarded more than $840,000 in grants to over 60 organisations driving meaningful change.

Impact Gifts

These gifts fuel multi-year initiatives that align with Milliken’s strategic priorities, amplifying our long-term impact through purposeful investment and transformative partnerships.

Gift Match Program

This program empowers our associates around the globe to support the causes they care about most. By matching their donations dollar-for-dollar, we amplify their impact—supporting eligible charitable organisations like nonprofits, schools, and community-focused groups working to make a difference.

Associate Dependent Scholarship Program

By investing in education, we open doors for the next generation. This global program supports dependents of full-time Milliken associates with renewable four-year scholarships—offering up to $5,000 per year to help current or prospective college and university students pursue their goals with confidence.

The 2026 Community Grant Program will be invitation-only. Eligible organisations will be contacted directly by our team with instructions on how to apply. Tokyo Office Green Adapt Activities (Japan)

Our Tokyo office team participated in the Green Adapt Activities in Chuo Ward. This volunteer initiative focused on cleaning nearby parks and streets, and nearly all our associates in Tokyo took part in cleaning tree planters and removing weeds around the office.

Beech Hill Community Week Litter Pickup (U.K.)

Each year, during the local Community Week, we have a dedicated team to help clean the streets of the local community in Beech Hill. These litter clean-up activities directly impact the people in our community.

Affinity Networks Make the Connection

We are actively engaged in building stronger communities—both within and beyond Milliken. Currently six unique cohorts, Milliken’s Affinity Networks connect like-minded associates to foster on-the-job bonds and coordinate support for relevant causes.
