Assure Certified to NFPA Standard

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Milliken & Company, a diversified global manufacturer with more than 155 years of textile expertise, announced today that its AssureTM moisture barrier is now certified to the NFPA 1970-2025 standard for structural firefighting gear. This new certification complements Assure’s existing NFPA 1971-2018 certification, further validating the barrier’s proven performance and reliability.

In addition, Assure meets the optional Total Fluorine Requirement under the new NFPA 1970-2025 certification, highlighting Milliken’s ongoing commitment to providing non-PFAS moisture barrier solutions to the fire service.
