Milliken Awards 12 New Academic Scholarships to Associates' Dependents
The Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation is proud to award 12 academic scholarships supporting students who are dependents of current Milliken associates.
One of the many ways we uphold our core value of People is through the Milliken & Company Associate Dependent Scholarship program, which offers renewable scholarships for dependent children of full-time associates. In 2025, we awarded 12 new scholarships and 26 renewals for a total of 38 scholarships. This benefit provides up to $5,000 a year for up to four years.
The program recognizes students striving for excellence in academics, school and community participation, and special honors.
Among these students is Li Zhi Hao, who is currently studying at Wuxi University.

“This scholarship is a tremendous blessing as it will allow me to focus on my studies without the burden of financial stress. It brings me closer to achieving my academic and career goals, and I am deeply thankful for this support,” Li Zhi Hao said.
Alexis Madden will be studying at Clemson University and says, “I am extremely grateful for this scholarship, as it will allow me to achieve an engineering degree without debt or financial concerns.”

“By offering this scholarship program, we demonstrate our commitment to our values, enabling dependents of our associates to reach their educational goals,” said Bethany Smith, SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer of Milliken & Company. “We hope that this investment will empower students to hold these values dear as they strive to make a positive difference in the world.”
At Milliken, we are proud to pave the way to dreams and help build a brighter future, fostering the next generation of leaders through our scholarship program.
