Wound Care
Milliken’s advanced wound dressings help you achieve optimal patient care by complementing your existing treatments and processes.
Our product offering includes contact layers, foams and antimicrobial dressings. The ULTRA and TRITEC® dressings incorporate Milliken’s Active Fluid Management® (AFM®) technology, providing superior moisture management using a micro-knit process for wound and skin care.
TRITEC® Wound Contact Layer Dressings
Every Milliken TRITEC® dressing utilizes AFM® technology, which combines two layers of high-performance fabric, using a micro-knit process to create a moisture transfer mechanism that pulls away and traps excess exudate. The combination of these fabrics keeps the wound bed moist, the periwound skin dry, and harmful exudate away from a healing wound.

TRITEC® Silver Wound Contact Layer
TRITEC® Silver dressings combine the moisture management benefits of AFM® Technology’s three-part design with a proprietary ceramic silver ion technology. This powerful, controlled release of ionic silver inhibits a broad spectrum of infection-causing microbes, including antibiotic-resistant strains such as MRSA.

ULTRA Foam Wound Dressings
The patented technology in ULTRA foam dressings increases the clinically relevant capacity of the dressing by pulling excess exudate through the dressing and across the entire foam substrate. ULTRA foam dressings are designed for circumstances where copious drainage is anticipated and protection from trauma may also be important. This increased absorbent capacity allows for superior moisture management, longer wear times, and, ultimately, fewer dressing changes.

ULTRA Silver Antimicrobial Foam Wound
ULTRA Silver dressings combine the moisture management benefits of AFM® technology’s three-part design with a proprietary ceramic silver ion technology. This controlled release of ionic silver inhibits a broad spectrum of infection-causing microbes, including antibiotic-resistant strains. The release of silver into the dressing is activated by the body’s own sodium and begins inactivating pathogens within 24 hours of dressing application. Antimicrobial activity is demonstrated for up to three days.

AGILE Gellable Fiber Dressings with AFM® Technology
AGILE gellable fiber dressings were developed to meet the needs of patients and clinicians with exudate management challenges. AGILE dressings build on Milliken’s proprietary Active Fluid Management® technology with the incorporation of highly absorbent gellable fibers. AGILE has the unique ability to maintain a moist wound healing environment while pulling harmful exudate away from the wound. AGILE's gellable fibers uniquely manage exudate fluctuation throughout the wound healing process.
