Milliken’s burn dressings help provide excellent healing results with properties that are beneficial throughout all phases of wound healing.
ASSIST®, NuStat and PermeaDerm dressings solve unmet patient needs, allowing Milliken to be your ideal burn dressing partner. Our product offering includes low-adherent (featuring Active Fluid Management® and SelectSilver® technologies), topical hemostatic, and bioactive matrix dressings.
ASSIST® Silver Burn Dressings
The patented low-adherent layer in ASSIST® Silver eliminates the need for a separate non-adherent layer, which saves O.R. and nursing time during application and maintenance. The low profile and flexibility allow for improved range of motion and comfort for patients.
ASSIST® Absorbent
Every Milliken ASSIST® Absorbent dressing utilizes an advanced multilayer technology. The white impervious film backing prohibits moisture from leaking through the back of the dressing but can easily be removed to allow for airflow and/or the use of additional secondary dressings. The patented, low-adherent layer in ASSIST Absorbent dressings eliminates the need for a separate non-adherent layer, which saves O.R. and nursing time during application and maintenance.
ASSIST® Silver Absorbent Antimicrobial Low-Adherent Dressings
ASSIST® Silver Absorbent dressings combine the moisture management benefits of AFM’s three-part design with a proprietary ceramic silver ion technology. This controlled release of ionic silver inhibits a broad spectrum of infection-causing microbes, including antibiotic-resistant strains such as MRSA. The release of silver into the dressing is activated by the body’s own sodium with antimicrobial activity for up to seven days. The patented, low-adherent layer in ASSIST Silver Absorbent dressings eliminates the need for a separate non-adherent layer, which saves O.R. and nursing time during application and maintenance.
NUSTAT™ Flex Topical Hemostatic Dressings
NuStat™ Flex dressings help address patient blood loss through hemostatic fiber technology. The specialty fibers within the product result in a flexible dressing that conforms to the patient. NuStat™ Flex dressings are applied externally with mechanical compression to temporarily control bleeding.
PermeaDerm Bioactive Matrix Wound Dressing
PermeaDerm bioactive matrix is a transparent, adherent, flexible dressing that provides a moist wound healing environment on cleanly debrided wounds when applied after hemostasis has been achieved. PermeaDerm enables the user to vary porosity, allowing moisture to pass to a secondary dressing that can be changed without interrupting the healing process.
