The result: Milliken was a "green" company long before it was on most companies' radar. The Milliken family of companies is certified carbon negative by the respected Leonardo Academy through their Cleaner and Greener® Program. We maintain this certification through renewable sources, sequestration and energy reduction. Our professionally managed forests capture and offset more carbon dioxide than our global operations emit. More than 99% of our solid waste is recycled and we've reduced our overall environmental footprint by nearly 50% in last 10-15 years.
