A finely textured, piece-dyed base from Constantine was patterned using Milliken's latest print technology. The compounds contain Milliken's ground-breaking Millad® NX™ 8000 clarifying agent, used in combination with our ClearTint® polymeric dyes. Millad® NX™ 8000 clarifying agent improves clarity and gloss in polypropylene (PP) applications to levels comparable with "glass clear" polymers such as PET, polycarbonate and acrylics and even glass itself. For years, there were only two options in workwear: protection or comfort. Milliken Research changed this with its development of high-performance fire-resistant (FR) fabrics that combine both attributes. Milliken FR fabrics are processed ammonia-free and constructed of a cotton/nylon blend designed to mitigate potential injuries from electric arc and flash fire exposure, while maintaining very high levels of durability and comfort.
